Welcome to the assessment feature of the NEW Master Teacher Pd Program!

Program Assessments are provided to help the Principal evaluate the overall impact of the “Seven-Minute Seminar” modules of Program that have been incorporated into various monthly training activities. As the Principal continues to reflect and adjust his/her monthly and annual plans in order to reach the building goals, it will be important to know the extent to which teachers are learning and utilizing these research-based, expert-supported resources and the impact on student learning.

Access to the baseline assessment is available at all times of the year so that this data may be collected four to six weeks after implementation, regardless of what time of year membership begins. Principals who join after the school year has started will be able to access the baseline assessment when appropriate and then resume the assessment schedule at the next opportunity.

2011-2012 MTPd Assessment Schedule:

Baseline Assessment: Available at all times
(Recommended 4 – 6 weeks after implementation)

The Baseline Assessment is a short, 5-question assessment designed to measure various aspects of teacher use of the “Seven-Minute Seminar” modules. These 5 baseline questions will appear on all follow-up assessments so that you can continue to monitor use and overall impact of the Master Teacher Pd Program.

Follow-up Assessment #1: Available November 15 – December 10

Follow-up Assessment #2: Available February 14 – March 11

Follow-up Assessment #3: Available May 16 – June 30
